Minimum driver age by vehicle
Age limits reflect our insurer's requirements for each class of car. Drivers under 25 pay a $25 per day young renter fee where eligible.
- 21+ for the Mustang GT Convertible and Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
- 23+ for the Corvette Stingray and Tesla Model S Plaid
- 25+ for all exotics, the Porsche 911, G 63 and Escalade
- Every additional driver must meet the same age limit
Driver's license
Bring the physical license to handover. Photos, temporary paper licenses without the expired card, and learner permits are not accepted.
- Valid full license held for at least 2 years
- International visitors: passport plus home license
- International Driving Permit if the license is not in English
- No major violations or DUI in the last 5 years for exotics
Security deposit
The deposit is a temporary authorization hold, not a charge. It is released the same day as your return inspection; banks typically show it within 3 to 7 business days.
- Major credit card in the primary driver's name
- Card must be physically present at handover
- Debit cards accepted for rental charges, not the hold
- Sample holds range from $500 to $7,500 by vehicle
Insurance and protection
You need either personal auto insurance that extends to rentals of this value, or one of our protection packages. We verify coverage before handover.
- Liability only: proof of full coverage insurance required
- Standard protection: responsibility capped at $5,000
- Premier protection: capped at $2,500 plus tire, wheel and glass
- Credit card rental coverage rarely covers exotics, so check first

Most credit card benefits exclude exotic, high-value and luxury vehicles, and some exclude all rentals over $50,000 in value. Call your card issuer before relying on it.
No. We verify your license through a driving record check for exotics and confirm the deposit authorization, but we never pull your credit.
No. Every driver must be listed on the agreement and present at handover with their license, including spouses.
The license must be valid for the entire rental period. Bring your renewal confirmation if you have already renewed.
